1. Speak to me, Lord,
I need Thee so; Voices around I do not know,
Night is so dark and hope so low,
Speak, Lord to me

2. Hark! A tender voice I hear.
Calling in cadences low and clear,
“I am the Way and I am near.
Lo! I speak to thee!”

3. Now I can see, tho’ clouds remain:
I cannot lose my way again;
Sunshine or darkness, joy or pain,
Jesus speaks to me.
