1. This is the day the Lord hath made.
\n\tHe calls the hours His own;
\n\tLet heaven rejoice, let earth be glad,
\n\tAnd praise surround the throne.<\/p>\n
\t2. Today He rose and left the dead,
\n\tAnd Satan’s empire fell;
\n\tToday the saints His triumph spread,
\n\tAnd all His wonders tell.<\/p>\n
\t3. Hosanna to th’anointed King,
\n\tTo David’s holy Son: Help us,
\n\tO Lord! Descend and bring
\n\tSalvation from Thy throne.<\/p>\n
\t4. Blest be the Lord who comes to men
