1. Lead on, O King Eternal,
\n\tThe day of march has come,
\n\tHenceforth in fields of conquest
\n\tThy tents shall be our home.
\n\tThro’ days preparation
\n\tThy grace has made us strong,
\n\tAnd now, O King Eternal,
\n\tWe lift our battle song.<\/p>\n
\t2. Lead on, O King Eternal,
\n\tTill sin’s fierce war shall cease,
\n\tAnd holiness shall whisper
\n\tThe sweet Amen of peace;
\n\tFor not with swords loud clashing,
\n\tnor roll of stirring drums,
\n\tWith deeds of love and mercy
\n\tThe heavenly kingdom comes.<\/p>\n
