1. Pleasant are Thy courts above,

\n\tIn this land of sin and woe.
\n\tO my spirit longs and faints
\n\tFor the converse of Thy saints,
\n\tFor the brightness of Thy face,
\n\tFor Thy fullness, God of grace!<\/p>\n
\t2. Happy birds that sings and fly
\n\tRound Thy altars, O most High!
\n\tHappier souls that find a rest
\n\tIn a heavenly Father’s breast!
\n\tLike the wondering dove that found
\n\tNo repose on earth around,
