1. Go, labour on; spend, and be spent,
\n\tThy joy to do the Father’s will
\n\tIt is the way the Master went,
\n\tShould not the servant tread it still?<\/p>\n
\t2. Go, labour on; ’tis not naught
\n\tThy earthly loss is heavenly gain
\n\tMen heed thee, love thee, praise thee not,
\n\tThe Master praises; what are men?<\/p>\n
\t3. Go, labour on, while it is day,
\n\tThe world’s dark night at your side,
\n\tSpeed, speed thy work, cast sloth away
\n\tIt is not thus that souls are won.<\/p>\n
\t4. Men die in darkness at your side,
\n\tWithout a hope to cheer the tomb
\n\tTake up the torch and wave it wide,
\n\tThe torch that light time’s thickest gloom.<\/p>\n
\t5. Toil on, faint not, keep watch, and pray;
