1. O zion, haste, thy mission high fulfilling
\n\tTo tell to all the world that God is light;
\n\tThat He who made all nations is not willing
\n\tOne soul should perish lost in shades of night.<\/p>\n
\tChorus:
\n\tPublished glad tidings,
\n\tTidings of peace;
\n\tTidings of Jesus,
\n\tRedemption and release.<\/p>\n
\t2. Behold how many thousands still are lying
\n\tBound in the dark some prison house of sin,
\n\tWith none to tell them of the Saviour’s dying
\n\tOr of the life He died for them to win.<\/p>\n
\t3. Proclaim to every people, tongue and nation
\n\tThat God in whom they live and move is love
\n\tTell how He stooped to save His lost creation,
\n\tAnd died on earth that man might live above.<\/p>\n
4. Give of thy sons to bear the message glorious;
