1. I think when I read that sweet story of old
\n\tWhen Jesus was here among men,
\n\tHow He called little children as lambs to His fold,
\n\tI should like to have been with them then,

\t2. I wish that His hands had been placed on my head,
\n\tThat His arm had been thrown around me;

\n\tHis kind look when He said
