1. O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
\n\tIt is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth!
\n\tLong lay the world in sin and darkness pining
\n\tTill He appeared, gift of infinite worth!
\n\tBehold the Babe in yonder manger lowly
\n\t‘Tis God’s own Son come down in human form:
\n\tFall on your knees before the Lord most holy!
\n\tO night divine night when Christ was bom!
\n\tO night divine O night, O night divine<\/p>\n
\t2. With humble hearts we bow in adoration
\n\tBefore this Child, gift of God’s matchless love,
\n\tSent from on high to purchase our salvation
\n\tThat we might dwell with Him ever above.
\n\tWhat grace untold to leave the bliss of glory
