1. The first noel the angels did say.
\n\tWas to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
\n\tIn fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
\n\tOn a cold winters night that was so deep.<\/p>\n
\tChorus:
\n\tNoel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
\n\tBorn is the King of Israel.<\/p>\n
\t2. They looked up and saw a star,
\n\tShining in the cast, beyond them far,
\n\tAnd to the earth it gave great light,
\n\tAnd so it continued both day and night.<\/p>\n
\t3. And by the light of that same star,
\n\tThree wise-men came from country far,
\n\tTo seek for a king was their intent,
\n\tAnd to follow the star wherever it went.<\/p>\n
\t4. This star dew nigh to the northwest,
\n\tO’er Bethlehem it took its rest,
\n\tAnd there it did both stop and stay
\n\tRight over the place where Jesus lay.<\/p>\n
\t5. Then entered in those wise-men three,
\n\tFull reverently upon the knee
\n\tAnd offered there, in His presence,
