1. In fancy I stood by the shore,
\n\tone day, of the beautiful murm’ring Sea;
\n\tI saw the great crowds as they thronged
\n\tthe way of the Stranger of Galilee;
\n\tI saw how the man who was blind from birth,
\n\tin a moment was made to see;
\n\tThe lame was made whole by the matchless
\n\tskill Of the Stranger of Galilee.<\/p>\n
\tChorus:
\n\tAnd I felt I could love Him forever.
\n\tSo gracious and tender was He
\n\tI Claimed Him that day as my Saviour,
\n\tThis Stranger of Galilee.<\/p>\n
\t2. His look of compassion, His words of love,
\n\tThey shall never forgotten be,
\n\tWhen sin sick and helpless He saw me there.
\n\tThis Stranger of Galilee: He show’d me
\n\tHis hand and His riven side,
\n\tAnd He whispered “it was for thee!”
\n\tMy burden fell of at the pierced feet
