1. Day by day and with each passing moment
\n\tStrength I find to meet my trials here
\n\tTrusting in my Father’s wise bestowment
\n\tI’ve no cause for worry or for fear,
\n\tHe whose heart is kind beyond all measure
\n\tGives unto each day what He deems best
\n\tLoving its part of pain and pleasure,
\n\tMingling toil with peace and rest.<\/p>\n
\t2. Every day the Lord himself is near me
\n\tWith a special mercy for each hour,
\n\tAll my cares Re fain would bear, And cheer me,
\n\tHe whose name is Counselor and Pow’r,
\n\tThe protection is His child and Treasure,
\n\tIs a charge that on himself He laid;
\n\tAs thy days, thy strength shall be measure;”
\n\tThis the pledge to me He made.<\/p>\n
\t3. Help me then in every tribulation
\n\tSo to trust Thy promises, Lord, that
\n\tI lose not faith’s sweet consolation
\n\tOffered me within Thy Holy Word.
\n\tHelp me, Lord, when toil and Trouble meeting.
\n\tE’er to take, as from a father’s hand
\n\tOne by one, the days, the Moments flecting
