1. O father, all creating, whose wisdom, love, and power,
\n\tFirst bound two lives together in Eden’s primal hour,
\n\tToday to these Thy children Thine earliest gifts renew;
\n\tA home by Thee made happy. A love by Thee kept true.<\/p>\n
\t2. O Saviour, Guest most bounteous of old in Galilee,
\n\tVouchsafe today Thy presence with who call on Thee:
\n\tTheir store of earthly gladness transform to heavenly wine
\n\tAnd teach them in the tasting to know the gift is Thine.<\/p>\n
\t3. O Spirit of the Father breathe on them from above,
\n\tSo mighty in Thy pureness so tender in Thy love,
\n\tThat, guarded by Thy presence, from sun and strife kept free,
\n\tTheir lives may own Thy guidance, their hearts be ruled by Thee.<\/p>\n
\t4. Except Thou build it, Father, the house is built in vain;
\n\tExcept Thou, Saviour, bless it, the joy will turn to pain:
