1. If when you give the best of your service,
\n\tTelling the world that the Saviour is come;
\n\tBe not dismayed when men don’t believe you,
\n\tHe understands; He’ll say -Well done”.<\/p>\n
\tChorus:
\n\tOh, when I come to the end of my journey,
\n\tWeary of life and the battle is won;
\n\tCar’ing the staff and the cross of redemption,
\n\tHe’ll understand and say “Well done”<\/p>\n
\t2. Misunderstood, the Saviour of sinners,
\n\tHung on the cross; He was God’s only Son;
\n\tOh! Hear Him call His Father in heaven,
\n\t“Let not my will but Thine be done”.<\/p>\n
\t3. If when this life of labour is ended,
\n\tAnd the reward; of the race you have run;
\n\tOh! Take the sweet rest prepared for faithful,
\n\tWill be His blest, and final “Well done”.<\/p>\n
\t4. But if you try and fail in your tying,
\n\tHands sore and scarred from the work you’ve begun;
\n\tTake up your cross, run quickly to meet Him, ”
