1. Dark are the clouds of sin and temptation,
\n\tHov’ring above as we journey along;
\n\tWhen our glad spirits shall break into song,
\n\tBut there at last will come a bright dawning,<\/p>\n
\tChorus:
\n\tAfter the shadows morning will great us;
\n\tAfter the journey, the comforts of Home;
\n\tWith our blest Saviour glorious rapture!
\n\tAfter the shadows, the sun shine will come<\/p>\n
\t2. After the long, dark midnight of sorrow,
\n\tJesus will give us a wonderful peace.
\n\tBurdens will fall and trials will vanish,
\n\tWe shall rejoice in eternal release<\/p>\n
\t3. Oh, let us cling to Jesus our Saviour,
\n\tLoving Him always, for He is so true;
