1. There’s a fight to be fought, and a race to be run.
\n\tThere are dangers to meet by the way,
\n\tBut the Lord is my light and the Lord is my life.
\n\tAnd the Lord is my strength and say
\n\tOn His word I depend, He’s my Saviour and Friend;
\n\tAnd He tells me to trust and obey, For the Lord is
\n\tMy Light and the Lord is my life,
\n\tAnd the Lord is my strength and stay<\/p>\n
\t2. In His wonderful love, He came down from above,
\n\tTo suffer and die on the tree; Now He’s reigning up
\n\tThere, where He’s gone to prepare a place in His kingdom for me,
\n Let us sing as we go, For He loveth us so,
\n\tWe can never be lost by the way;
\n\tFor the Lord is our light and the Lord is our life,
\n\tFor the Lord is our strength and stay.<\/p>\n
\t3. Then He’ll bring us at length, be His infinite strength,
