1. Land of our birth, we plead to thee,
\n Our love and toil in the years to be
\n\tWhen we are grown, and take our place
\n\tAs men and women with our race.<\/p>\n
\t2. Father in heaven who love us all,
\n\tO help Thy children when they call;
\n\tThat they may built from age to age.
\n\tAs undefiled our heritage.<\/p>\n
\t3. Teach us to bear the yoke in youth,
\n\tWith steadfastness and careful truth;
\n\tThat, in our time, Thy grace may give
\n\tThe truth whereby the nations live<\/p>\n
\t4. Teach us rule ourselves always,
\n\tControlled and cleanly night and day,
\n\tThat we may bring, if need arise,
\n\tNo maimed or worthless sacrifice.<\/p>\n
\t5. Teach us the strength that cannot seek,
\n\tBy deed or thought, to hurt the weak;
\n\tThat, under Thee, we may possess
\n\tMan’s strength to succor man’s distress.<\/p>\n
\t6. Teach us to look, in all our ends,
\n\tOn Thee for judge, and not our friends;
\n\tThat we, with Thee, may walk uncowed
