1. Be still, my soul! The Lord is on thy side;
\n\tBear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
\n\tLeave to thy God to order and provide;
\n\tIn every change He faithfully will remain,
\n\tBe still, my soul! Thy best, thy heavenly
\n\tFriend thro’ thorny ways leads to a joyful end.<\/p>\n
\t2. Be still, my soul! Thy God doth undertake.
\n\tTo guide the future as He has the past.
\n\tThy hope thy confidence let nothing shake.
\n\tAll now mysterious shall be bright at last.
\n\tBe still, my soul! The waves and winds still know
\n\tHis voice who ruled them while he dwelt below.<\/p>\n
