1. Thou didst leave Thy throne and Thy kingly crown,
\n\tWhen Thou comest to earth for me.
\n\tBut in Bethlehem’s Home was there
\n\tfound no room for Thy holy nativity.
\n\tO come to my heart, Lord Jesus!
\n\tThere is room in my heart for Thee!<\/p>\n
\t2. Heaven’s arches rang when the angels sang.
\n\tProclaiming Thy royal degree;
\n\tBut of lowly birth didst Thou come to earth,
\n\tAnd in great humility O come to my heart,

\t3. The foxes found rest, and the birds their nest,
