1. When mothers of Salem
\n\tTheir children brought to Jesus,
\n\tThe stem disciples drove them back,
\n\tAnd bade them depart;
\n\tBut Jesus saw them ere they fled,
\n\tAnd sweetly smiled, and kindly
\n\tSaid, “Suffer the children to come unto Me”<\/p>\n
\t2. How kind was our Saviour
\n\tTo bid those children welcome!
\n\tBut there are many thousands who
\n\tHave never heard His name;
\n\tDear Saviour, hear us when we pray,
\n\tThat they may hear Thee to them
